Though we all know that English is not at all the only parameter to judge the talent and abilities ,we cant deny the fact that its one of the most crucial factor to measure your personality and its global value. The competition has got divided into following different titles;

1.Word Master

  • It is a competition based on your knowledge of professional vocabulary and idiomatic expressions.
  • Each candidate will be given 50 words and idioms to solve within one hour.
  • Use of mobile is strictly prohibited.

2.Grammar Expert:

  • You will be given 60 sentences to solve within 60 minutes.
  • Use of mobile phone is strictly prohibited.

3.Talking Titans:

  • It is an extempore competition.
  • On the spot topic will be given and you need to talk for 2 minutes on that.
  • Your small talk must contain good beginning, explanation and a logical conclusion for the given topic.

4.Heads and Brains:

  • This is a Group Discussion Competition .
  • Minimum 5 students need to be there in one group
  • Time limit is 10 minutes .
  • Each student must participate and express his or her views with clarity and logicality.
  • Group leader must introduce all the participants at the beginning of the competition with the topic.

3.Should Covid Vaccination be made mandatory?

4.Raising the age of marriage for women from 18 years to 21 years –Pros and cons

5.Should people invest in cryptocurrency?

 

5.The Clash of minds /The clash of views:

  • It is a Debate Competition
  • Minimum 5 students need to be there in one group
  • Following are the rules to be followed:
  • Time limit is 10 minutes .
  • Each student must participate and express his or her views with clarity and logicality.
  • Group leader must introduce all the participants at the beginning of the competition with the topic and also whether there role is in favour of or against the given theme/subject/topic.

Topics:

  1. Are Corporate jobs a new form of slavery?
  2. Is Cricket an overrated sport in India?
  3. Should the Internet be sensored?
  4. Should Organ Donation be made compulsory?
  5. Is it ethical to develop Nuclear Energy for commercial use?

 

6.Speak to Lead

It is a Public Speaking Competition .Here the participant is expected to deliver a motivating speech of 3 minutes on the following given topics.

  • Bharatratna Lataji Dinanath Mangeshkar
  • Kapil Dev and World Cup 0f 1983
  • Prime Minister of India Naredraji Modi
  • Sindhu Tai Sapkal,the Mai of all.

 

NOTE: AS this whole competition is run with the clear intention to encourage  the student’s English Language Proficiency and their Personality to make them confident and fit for global scenario, Students must remember that with in all above sections their knowledge of vocabulary, grammar ,writing and speaking expression power will be measured along with the ease and fluency and also the dressing and grooming sense of each one of them.
