A heartfelt tribute to the visionary, Late Shri Eknath Thakur sir! From the coastal village of Mhapan to ascending as the Chairman of Saraswat Bank, his influence on society knows no bounds. A true champion of education, Late Shri Thakur laid the foundation for the National School of Banking, sculpting the futures of 80,000 aspiring individuals.
In the glow of his inspiring journey, and to carry forward his lasting legacy, our Department of Information Technology hosts this annual event. SETSIPC becomes a vibrant stage, not just providing a platform for emerging brilliance but also encouraging innovation among the students. It’s a lively celebration, echoing the spirit of Late Shri Eknath Thakur’s enthusiasm for education and creativity that echoed throughout his remarkable life.
A GLIMPSE INTO SETSIPC’S JOURNEY
Adapting to the changes brought by the global pandemic, SETSIPC has transformed since 2021. We’ve hosted this event both online and offline, breaking down barriers and inviting participants from diverse locations. SETSIPC includes engaging competitions like research paper presentations and project competitions, emphasizing innovation and intellectual excellence, rewarded with cash prizes and certificates.
As we navigate the intersection of technology and tradition, SETSIPC stands as a symbol of resilience and adaptability. For the 2024 edition, we have chosen to organize this event exclusively offline to foster personal connections, allowing participants to meet and collaborate physically. This decision aims to enhance the overall experience, encouraging a more immersive and interactive environment. Join us on this journey of knowledge exchange, collaboration, and celebration of diverse talents.

Registration is open until 14th February, offering prospective participants a professional window to secure their participation in our event.
We embrace on-the-spot entries to cultivate inclusivity, providing a dynamic platform that encourages new participants.
Entry Fee:
- Project Presentation: Rs. 200
- Paper Presentation: Rs. 200
Prize Details:
- 1st Prize: Cash Prize + Certificate
- 2nd Prize: Cash Prize + Certificate
- 3rd Prize: Cash Prize + Certificate
COMPETETION RULES AND GUIDELINES: FOR PROJECT PRESENTATION
- Each team can comprise of maximum two students.
- Project must be original design and creation of entrant(s).
- Each team will be give 10 minutes for presentation and showing the working of the Project.
- The infrastructure/software’s required for running the project or application shall be kept ready by the team.
- All the contestants will be given certificates of participation.
COMPETETION RULES AND GUIDELINES: FOR RESEARCH PAPER PRESENTATION
- Language: English, Type: MS Word Document.
- Title: Up to five to seven words(preferably)
- Font:Times New Roman, Size 12,Line spacing 1.5. Margin from all sides 1″
- Abstract text length: 300 words.
- Full paper length :2000 words.
- Full paper to be mailed in electronic format in MS World 2003/2007/2010 to setsipc@srmcollege.in
- Based on the Abstract review, acceptance of the paper shall be conveyed to the author in advance.
- Authors should use simple MS world and IEEE guide lines with the single-column format.
- Author should declare that paper is his/her own original research contribution and not submitted else where for publication.
- Authors have to abide by UGC prevention of plagiarism norms with a maximum acceptable level of similarity of 10%.
- The author and co-author have to register
