- Objectives of the Practice:
Goals and Objectives:
- To develop leadership qualities among students.
- To develop soft skills such as time management, team building, communication, Presentation, stage daring, cooperation, and event-management.
- To provide a platform for students to test their level of technical skill achievements.
Expected Outcomes:
- Participants will get the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge in different competitions organized as a part of this event.
- Students are doing the management of the entire event which helps them to develop their inter-personal and intra-personal skills such as time management, team building, communication, Presentation, stage daring, cooperation, and event-management.
- The Context:
Proper platform should be provided to students to participate in the activities that will help them to test their practical skills and their knowledge level that helps them to do their SWOT analysis. Students are encouraged to participate in this program.
- The Practice:
By considering above objectives behind this activity, different competitions such as PPT Presentation, Code Battle, Database Query, Reel Making, UI Design, Web Development, BGMI Mobile Game etc were conducted to give platform for students to showcase their talent and skill level. The Program is started in 2022-23 and now it is being organized every Year. Every year More than 300 students from different colleges in Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri District were participating in different Competitions organized as a part of this event. The winners of different competitions held during this events are being awarded with certificates, trophies and cash prizes in closing ceremony.
Besides this Program, various Seminars, Workshops, Guest Lectures on different topics were organized every year. Industrial Visit is also one of the important activity of the Department.
