The Women Development & Gender Issue Cell (WDC) and Mahila Takrar Nivaran Kaksh of the college is established with the objective of creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for women students and staff members. The cell works towards promoting gender equality, women’s rights, and awareness about various social, legal, and personal issues affecting women in society.
The primary aim of the cell is to provide a platform where women can freely express their concerns and seek guidance or support in resolving their issues. The Mahila Takrar Nivaran Kaksh functions as a grievance redressal mechanism that addresses complaints related to harassment, discrimination, or any form of injustice faced by women within the campus.
The cell actively organizes awareness programs, workshops, seminars, and counseling sessions on topics such as women empowerment, gender sensitization, health and hygiene, legal rights, and safety. These initiatives help in building confidence among women students and encourage them to participate actively in academic and co-curricular activities.
