The Anti-Drugs and Anti-Ragging Cell of the college functions to maintain a safe, disciplined, and drug-free campus environment in accordance with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Government of Maharashtra, and University of Mumbai.
Functions of the Cell

To prevent and prohibit ragging and drug abuse within the college campus and hostels.

To implement the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions (2009) and relevant state government rules.

To create awareness among students through orientation programs, seminars, posters, and campaigns regarding the harmful effects of ragging and drug abuse.

To ensure that students and parents submit anti-ragging undertakings/affidavits during admission.

To monitor sensitive areas such as classrooms, corridors, hostels, and common areas to prevent ragging incidents.

To receive and investigate complaints related to ragging or drug use and take appropriate disciplinary action as per institutional and legal provisions.

To provide counseling and support to affected students and ensure confidentiality in complaint handling.

To coordinate with college administration, university authorities, and local authorities when required for maintaining discipline on campus.
Ragging in any form—physical, verbal, psychological, or through electronic communication—is strictly prohibited and considered a punishable offense under the relevant regulations.
Students are encouraged to report any incident of ragging or drug-related activity immediately to the Anti-Drugs and Anti-Ragging Cell so that prompt action can be taken.
