Title of the Practice : Science Olympiad Workshop

Goal : To provide the guidance for the preparation of Olympiad exam to the selected students from Sindhudurg District.

Context : It is a need of time to guide and to make avail the suitable infrastructure to school children to motivate and nurture the talent. In schools such facilities and guidance do not remain available. Under the franchisee of MKCL, Science Association of the college and Vasundhara Trust, Nerur organised the District level workshop for the school students selected by MKCL through an examination.

Practice : To those selected students, Science Association of the college provided resources and guidance. During the workshop theory and Practical sessions for Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics were conducted.

Evidence of Success : Twenty students from different schools from the district were benefited by the workshop.

Resources Required : Projector, chemicals and equipments, printing setup.
